Retains the full structure of federal law and gradually subsumes state law into federal law.
DEFENSE
Converts the Pentagon to other functions and keeps a smaller military.
SOCIAL SECURITY & ENTITLEMENTS
Removes all entitlement obligations to residents of non-contained counties.
MONEY
Keeps the US Dollar, the Treasury, and the Federal Reserve (but removes outside regional banks).
ASSETS & LIABILITIES
Retains the assets and liabilities identified with its territory and then proportionally by population.

The Republics of America
Commander-in-Chief Donald Trump
GOVERNMENT
A defense-only federation of republics (former states). Initially, each republic sends a % of revenues monthly for defense spending. The republics vote for a civilian Commander-In-Chief and can leave the federation at any time.
LAW
Each republic retains its state constitution, governing structure, and state law. There is no federal law, just an agreement between the republics.
DEFENSE
The federation keeps the majority of the military and selects a new location for the military to operate.
SOCIAL SECURITY & ENTITLEMENTS
Entitlement obligations like Social Security become obligations of each republic according to current residency.
MONEY
Each republic starts by using US Dollars but transitions to competing currencies on its own schedule.
ASSETS & LIABILITIES
Retains the assets and liabilities identified with its territory and then proportionally by population.

The Associations of America
(no centralized leader)
NO GOVERNMENT
Counties and all contained cities and towns are converted into private associations.
LAW
Uses polycentric law starting with a simple legal network based on ULEX with core prohibitions against theft, fraud, and aggressive force.
DEFENSE
Starts by paying “The Republics of America” a % of revenues for protection until insurance-based property defense is enabled.
SOCIAL SECURITY & ENTITLEMENTS
Residents are granted a one-time payout of obligations and released from the systems.
MONEY
Starts by using US Dollars and transitions to competing currencies based on customer needs.
ASSETS & LIABILITIES
Assets like roads and parks become jointly owned by the county residents like an HOA.
